An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.
A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later released.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.
The attack - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
